Privacy Policy

The core design principle of ToolsPixel is client-side processing. The majority of our tools run entirely within your web browser using JavaScript — your input data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Specifically, the following tool categories process all data locally:

• Text tools (Word Counter, Text Converter): Text you paste or type is processed only in browser memory. It is never sent to any server.
• Voice Recorder: Microphone input is captured via the MediaRecorder API into an in-memory Blob. The recording exists only in your browser's memory until you download it — it is never uploaded to ToolsPixel's servers.
• Screen Recorder: Screen capture is handled via the getDisplayMedia() API. Video data accumulates as Blobs in browser memory and is served directly to you as a download. No video is uploaded.
• Keyboard Checker, Touchscreen Test, Dead Pixel Checker: Input events and pixel color data are evaluated entirely within the browser. No keystroke data is transmitted.
• Compass & Protractor: Sensor data from the DeviceOrientation API is read and displayed locally. No orientation data is transmitted.
• Typing Speed Test: Your typed text during the test is discarded after result calculation. It is never logged or stored.
• Age Calculator, Stopwatch & Timer: All calculations happen in JavaScript using your device's local clock. No data leaves your device.

Certain tools require network communication. These are the only cases where data may leave your browser:

• IP Finder: This tool calls the ipwho.is public API. When your browser makes this request, the API server receives your public IP address as part of the standard HTTP request. ToolsPixel does not receive, log, or store your IP address from this interaction. The API response (your IP, ISP, city, country) is displayed in your browser only. See ipwho.is for their privacy practices.
• Internet Speed Test: The speed test downloads test payloads from Cloudflare's global edge network and measures throughput. Your IP address is visible to Cloudflare's servers as part of standard network communication. ToolsPixel does not receive the results — they are computed and displayed entirely in your browser. • Latitude & Longitude Finder: Your browser requests location data from the navigator.geolocation API, which may use GPS, WiFi, or cell tower positioning. This data is displayed on screen only and is not transmitted to ToolsPixel servers.

ToolsPixel serves advertisements through Google AdSense (publisher ID: ca-pub-5431611063390128). Google AdSense allows us to keep all tools permanently free.

Google AdSense uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to serve ads. These may include:

• DART cookie: Used by Google to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
• Personalization cookies: Used to show ads relevant to your interests based on browsing history across Google's advertising network.
• Measurement cookies: Used to measure ad performance, impressions, and clicks.

Google's use of advertising cookies is governed byGoogle's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

• Google Ads Settings— manage Google's ad personalization for your Google account.
• Digital Advertising Alliance Opt-Out— opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies.
• Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out.

ToolsPixel also uses the google-adsense-account meta tag to verify site ownership with Google AdSense. This tag contains only the publisher ID and does not collect any data.

ToolsPixel may use anonymized analytics to understand how the site is used — such as which tools are most popular, what countries visitors come from, and page load performance. If analytics are in use:

• No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
• IP addresses are anonymized before logging.
• Analytics data is used solely to improve site performance and prioritize tool development.
• Analytics do not track your input data, keystrokes, recordings, or any tool-specific interactions.

ToolsPixel does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifying information (no account system exists)
• Any text, files, or content you process in our tools
• Any voice recordings, screen recordings, or sensor data from tool usage
• Your precise GPS location (the Geolocation API data is displayed locally only)
• Keystroke logs or typing patterns

ToolsPixel's web server may collect standard server logs including:

• IP address (standard HTTP server log, not linked to tool usage)
• Browser type and operating system (User-Agent header)
• Pages requested and timestamps
• Referring URL

Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging purposes only and are not used for marketing or profiling.

Since ToolsPixel does not collect personal data from tool usage, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Standard server access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and operational purposes, then automatically deleted.

If you contact us by email, your email address and the contents of your message are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for reasonable follow-up. We do not add contact email addresses to any marketing lists.

Some pages on ToolsPixel (particularly our Guides & Blog section) may contain links to external websites. ToolsPixel has no control over the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party sites and accepts no responsibility for them. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external site you visit.

ToolsPixel does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Our site does not target children under 13 as its primary audience. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through our contact form, please contact us atsupport@toolspixel.onlineand we will promptly delete such information.

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding personal data:

• Right to Access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you. Since ToolsPixel does not collect personal data from tool usage, this would only apply to any email correspondence you have sent us.

• CCPA (California residents): California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act regarding the sale of personal information. ToolsPixel does not sell personal information.
• GDPR (EEA/UK residents): EU and UK residents have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability. Our lawful basis for processing any contact form data is your consent. Contact us to exercise these rights.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect when changes were made. For significant changes affecting how we handle data, we will update the date and revise the relevant sections. Continued use of ToolsPixel after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
